More fresh produce is coming in every week, the freezers are full of good local meat, and you can find more than enough to make a good meal at the market. Stop in and find out what's new this week -- Friday from noon to 7 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
What's Cooking?
From 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, Jennifer McMullen (The Grain Maker) will make breakfast pita pizzas with good local eggs, a variety of cheeses from Lucky Penny Creamery and Blue Jacket Dairy, and fresh greens from selected producers, as well as her homemade whole wheat pita breads. If you're looking for ideas to liven up your mornings, stop by to taste something new.
Fun With Felting
Tara Herberger is back this week with her Fun Felting Sessions on Friday from 5 to 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM. This week, learn how to make a Garden Bug Mug Rug! Cost is only $5 as always.
Board Meeting May 5
The May meeting of the Wooster Local Foods Cooperative, Inc., board of directors will take place Wednesday, May 5 at 7 PM in the market. The meeting is open to all Local Roots members.
